WHAT HAPPENED???

This is the first time I am writing a blog!

What happened? This is a question that arises frequently in my mind(also took some inspiration from one of my friend)…….so I thought of discussing about this topic.I wanted to compare our present so called… Adolescent life with our childhood days…… after the comparison the question rises again WHAT HAPPENED TO US??

The carefree life we lead when we were young and now…………tensions, burdens, confused mind, stress etc etc….its like these things are aliens who have come to invade our mind.

We loved to do new things,we loved to experiment out of interest and not due to compulsion.

“A child can ask questions that a wise man cannot answer.”

We had questions, doubts that we frequently asked our parents and kept pestering them b’coz we loved it. Now were are the questions?? Have we lost our power to reason.

We had our own carefree world and we were its king…………

We didn’t have any burdens, no tensions(like now we are busy with our submission of records assignments, journals, conducting seminars etc etc…I am not saying that everybody hates it or nobody loves it…There are exceptions though!)

We walked in our own path, our own life, fulfilled our own stupid dreams which at that time we thought were awesome!!

We did little mischevious things that on completion gave us a contented smile on our face.

We used to do crazy things….. what is the craziest thing u did recently??think think!!! Do u have an answer?i don’t think so!( Your answer must be like I recently finished the toughest game! Which may sound crazy! But at the end of the day you are just siiting in front of the computer!nothing crazy about that!)

The main thing that we are missing in our present self is INNOCENCE!! Were the heck did we lose it!i think we lost it in our path from childhood to present!
To tell the truth I am sure that with innocence , we lost a lot other things which I didn’t mention.

One feels the need for retrospection at various cross roads. There is need to dwell back on our past so that we can correct our future which is necessary to achieve success in our personal, academic and working relationship.

But in our present , we have become independent, now we know to analyze things. Negativity even though it is not good has made us more cautious which is good in one way! We don’t live in imaginary world now. We are more aware of the reality now.

You can clutch the past so tightly to your chest that it leaves your arms too full to embrace the present.

So I think that even though we loved our childhood but now we cannot live in the past, because now we have grown up. We should accept our present the way it is or we should have the potential to change it.
